Meet Dr. Lenny Cohen

Dr. Lenny Cohen is a board-certified neurologist and the founder of CNS Center, where he has treated more than 20,000 patients over the past 24 years. His practice focuses on organic brain disorders, from headaches and migraines to depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), multiple sclerosis, stroke, neuropathy, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.

That perspective became personal during his father’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease. As his father’s condition progressed, Dr. Cohen saw firsthand the limitations of the treatment options available to his family at the time. After his father’s passing, that experience led him to explore additional therapies that could complement conventional neurological care, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which he incorporated into his practice in 2015.

Dr. Cohen’s approach to brain wellness and longevity draws on hundreds of scientific studies and clinical reviews from around the world. CNS Center operates the only standalone medical center in Chicago with medical-grade hyperbaric chambers, and hyperbaric therapy has become one of the practice’s core services for patients seeking to support brain health.

To expand care for patients needing infusion therapy, Dr. Cohen launched an IV infusion suite in 2019, offering infusions for cancer support, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune disorders, and migraine relief, along with vitamin, alpha-lipoic acid, and NAD+ infusions.

The practice has also expanded to include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a noninvasive treatment with FDA-cleared indications that include major depressive disorder and OCD, depending on the TMS system used.

Together, neurological evaluation, advanced diagnostics, HBOT, IV infusion therapy, TMS, and rehabilitation services allow CNS Center to take a more integrated approach to brain health. Dr. Cohen has built his practice around helping patients better understand their neurological health, explore appropriate treatment options, and take an active role in their long-term care.
