A level above the rest
BrainsWay TMS stands above the rest with its patented Deep TMS™ technology, penetrating deeper and broader brain regions for more effective, long-lasting results in treating depression, OCD, and more—unlocking relief where other TMS machines fall short.
A Breakthrough, FDA-Approved Treatment for Depression and Mood Disorders
Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Deep TMS) is a cutting-edge, FDA-approved treatment designed to help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders—especially those who haven’t found relief with medication or therapy alone.
Unlike traditional treatments, Deep TMS is non-invasive, drug-free, and requires no surgery or sedation. Using advanced magnetic pulses, Deep TMS stimulates key areas of the brain associated with mood regulation, effectively rewiring neural pathways to promote long-term emotional well-being.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between "Deep TMS" and standard TMS?
At CNS Center, we use Brainsway Deep TMS, which utilizes a patented H-Coil helmet. This technology reaches deeper and broader areas of the brain compared to traditional "figure-8" coils (like NeuroStar). This allows us to target structures involved in OCD and smoking addiction, not just surface-level depression.
Who is NOT a candidate for TMS?
TMS uses powerful magnetic fields. You cannot undergo TMS if you have non-removable metal implants in or around your head (such as cochlear implants, aneurysm clips, or bullet fragments). Dental fillings and braces are generally safe.
Are there any side effects?
TMS is known for having very few side effects compared to medication. The most common side effect is mild scalp discomfort or a temporary headache during the first few sessions. There is no weight gain, sexual dysfunction, or memory loss associated with TMS.
