Spravato® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults and for depressive symptoms with acute suicidal ideation or behavior (in conjunction with an oral antidepressant). What to Expect During Spravato® Treatment
Consultation & Care Plan

Your First Session (About 2–2.5 Hours in Clinic)
- You self-administer Spravato® under clinician supervision in a calm, private suite. We monitor your vitals and comfort throughout.
Structured Treatment Schedule
- Typical protocol: twice weekly for 4 weeks, then once weekly for 4 weeks, followed by individualized maintenance. You may be able to stop your baseline oral anti-depressant(s).
Recovery & Ride Home
- Mild, temporary effects (e.g., dissociation, dizziness, blood pressure changes) can occur. You’ll rest onsite until cleared to leave. You’ll need a ride home and should avoid driving until the next day.
Ongoing Optimization
